Introduction

LittleApps Inc. (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Shiomi - Simple Tide Chart (“the app”) handles information.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising, and it does not build a profile of you.

Location

When you add a location, the app asks Apple Maps for a name near the point you picked, and — if you grant the permission — may show your current position on the map so that you can find your spot faster. Location data is used on your device only. It is never sent to us and never shared with anyone.

Tide Parameters

To predict tides for a location, the app downloads the harmonic constituents of the point you selected once, from our tide API (api.tides.ngs.io). That request contains the coordinates of the point and, as with any request on the Internet, your device’s IP address. We use them only to answer the request and to keep the service running securely; we do not use them to identify you, and we do not sell or share them.

Once the parameters are downloaded, all tide predictions are computed on your device. Nothing you do in the app afterwards is sent to us.

iCloud

Your saved locations and settings are stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced to your own private iCloud account so that they follow you across your Apple devices. That data lives in your iCloud account, which we cannot access. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for how iCloud handles your data.

Analytics and Tracking

We do not use any analytics services, tracking technologies, third-party SDKs or advertising networks. Your usage of the app is completely private.

Children’s Privacy

The app does not collect information from users of any age, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
